Los Angeles Employment Opportunities

There is a diverse economic base in Los Angeles County. As home to the film, television and recording industries, as well as important cultural facilities, Los Angeles serves as a principal global cultural center. Los Angeles is the home to two of the largest law schools in the country, UCLA and USC, and some of the largest law firms in the country are headquartered in the Downtown and Century City areas.

Transportation

You've likely heard of L.A.'s famous traffic gridlock, but don't let that scare you away! Downtown Los Angeles is very centrally located to the greater L.A. area, and there are lots of mass transit options that serve the Downtown area, such as Metrolink trains and buses. Climate/Weather

The main appeal of Los Angeles is the weather! The temperature in winter is just between about 45 and 66 degrees Fahrenheit. It rarely falls below freezing, and in the summer, the temperature rises to between 63 and 76 degrees Fahrenheit on average, although it can rise to over 100 degrees.
